This film is an attempt to restore the atmospheric sound of daily lives as depicted in still historical photographs, and to bring life back into their archived static bodies, as a cinematic experience that restores their memories as well as ours – as an attempt to restore our relationship with time, space and event – through a journey across the historical city of Jaffa, the city in which my father had lived before he was forced to immigrate in the year 1948.
